I’m a freelance journalist from London, specialising in reportage of world affairs. I’ve reported from the ground across Iraq, Ukraine, and other European countries for over 20 major media organisations including WIRED, MIT Technology Review, and BBC News. MHP Group selected me as one of its “30 Young Journalists to Watch” in 2025, when I was also selected by the Wallace House Center for Journalists as a finalist in its Livingston Awards.
I trained as a multimedia journalist at News Associates in London, graduating with top honours in 2021. The Royal Geographical Society awarded me a fellowship the following year after I walked 450km solo across southern Iraq. I’ve trained to operate in hostile environments (HEFAT) with Advanced Tactical Resources Ltd..
